Blog evaluation

My experience writing this blogs has been very educational, I learn a lot of vocabulary  related to my career or other areas, I enjoy writing about very different topics even about  impossible things, I like specially one about  why I did not go to class, it was very funny  invent a crazy story to justify why I did not go.

I think I learn a lot of specific vocabulary about professions, related to health area, related to my career, and many other others topics. I also think that I improve my grammar, I used to mix all the grammar times, and it was awful, you can’t understand anything, maybe I have to make more improvements on this.

I would like to include for future blogs that they were more interactive, I don’t know maybe write blogs with a partner and establish a topic for discussion, or do an activity and then write about it.

During all the semester I always wanted write about books I love, like tale of two cities, wuthering heights, crime and punishment, war and peace, game of thrones, to name a few. I think that when you are reading you can transport yourself to other worlds, other realities, it’s amazing how some books make you feel part of their world almost like you were living all that  amazing stories.

You can learn a lot just reading and I really love it.

Justification

So that day started like any other day, i woke up at 7 in the morning, i went to the bathroom, i order my things and then i go out to the fau when suddenly i saw a bright light, so i look at the sky and noticed that it was beginning to move me up towards the light, i was very scared, but i couldn’t do anything to avoid it, I was so shocked that I fainted. When i woke up  i was disoriented,  the light was so strong that it dazzled me. After a few minutes I could see strange silhouettes that were cut against the light, they started to get close to me, before I fainting I could see some strange instruments that threatened to hurt me.

I woke up in my bed, but it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon so that all this strange experience there was only a dream, or that was what I believed until I saw some strange marks on my arms and legs.

For this reason I did not go to class that day.

My favorite subject: sustainable urbanism

My favorite subject is sustainable urbanism along this semester we have seen contents like the first urban planners, I was surprised because this happen a short time ago; also the models of urban planning like garden city of Ebenezer Howard or industrial city of Tony Garnier, this models try to organize the city and make it functional in a way that minimizes environmental impact in the ecosystem through different ways designed especially for each type of climate and geography; we see actual problems like the floods  for the basin of Santiago  or the vertical ghettos of central station; and finally how the cities through the history  make charge of the problem about how organize the city, according to this there are two types of cities : organic city and geometric city.

In the classes we have seen all the topics previously mentioned and make tasks about them like videos about the ecological footprint, designed or own model sustainable city on sketchup, investigations works, and make a n urban plan to solve the problem of the vertical ghettos of central station, and obviously we have test, but they are more of application of matter and more practical.

I like this subject because is a good mix between theoretical matter and practical works, and cause is very important for the architects know how to solve the problems of contamination that was caused for previous generations through the sustainable urbanism. I think we can save the world through if we have the appropriate tools.
